What is the difference between a new and used shipping container?

New (one-trip) containers have been used just once to ship goods from the factory and are in near-perfect condition. Used containers are graded from Grade A (good cosmetic condition, wind and watertight) to Grade C (functional but heavily weathered). Price differences between grades can be significant, particularly for 40ft units.
