What is a pallet-wide shipping container?

A pallet-wide container (also known as a pallet-wide or PW container) is slightly wider than a standard ISO container, with an external width of 2.5m rather than the standard 2.44m. This allows two standard EUR pallets to sit side-by-side, improving loading efficiency and volume utilisation.
