What are the internal dimensions of a 40-foot shipping container?

A standard 40-foot shipping container has internal dimensions of approximately 12.03m long x 2.35m wide x 2.39m high, providing approximately 67 cubic metres of usable storage space. A 40ft high-cube container offers an additional 30cm of internal height at around 2.69m.
