How are containers loaded and unloaded at storage facilities?

At storage facilities, containers are usually loaded and unloaded at ground level using forklift trucks, pallet trucks and manual handling, depending on the goods. For container storage shipping, units may be lifted on and off vehicles using Hiab lorries, cranes or specialist container handlers.
